International Cooperation

The cooperation of the Secondary Technical School of Chemistry with the Dr. Flada Institute began in 2002. The Dr. Flad Institute is a private vocational school of Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology and the Environment which offers 2-year study programmes in the following fields of study: Environmental Protection, and Biotechnology and Pharmacy. The Dr. Flad Institute is also a member of UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network. Students of both schools regularly visit each other and help each other in labs conduct water analyses and prepare various pharmaceutical substances.

Another partner organisation of the school is SBG Dresden (Saxon Education Company for Environmental Protection and Chemical Occupations Dresden). The cooperation is realized through the Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus+ programmes.
